Homework helps your child to reflect on their learning, and practise new skills and knowledge, and it gives your child’s teachers an opportunity to check their understanding, so they can then adapt their lessons if needed.  It can also help you, as a parent, understand what your child is learning.

Students can attend Homework Support from 3pm to 4pm, in W2 and W6, and can choose to work independently or ask a member of staff for support.  If your child feels more comfortable doing their homework at home, having a dedicated space will help them to stay focused.  While you should be there to support and help them understand the work, it is important you do not do the work for them.
