Welcome to Woodkirk Academy

A team of 26 pupils and 3 members of staff travelled to Bologna. One of Italy's most beautiful cities and home of the high-tech 'super car' industry.  Pupils experienced first hand, the Design, Physics and Technology that goes into these incredible cars.

Visiting Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani and Ducati, we were granted behind the scenes access and gained first hand invaluable experience of production processes  and quality checks. This is sure to help them with their summer GCSE and A-level exams. Who knows... one of them may go on to design the next super car!
