At Woodkirk Academy, we believe that most success can be achieved by working in collaboration with students and their families.  This applies to all aspects of the school’s work, including in supporting the children to have the very best attendance possible.

Students with 100% attendance in the 5 weeks after half term (Monday 20 February to Friday 24 March inclusive) will be entered into a prize draw, with prizes being for the whole family.  Prizes will range from an Easter egg for each family member to cinema vouchers; from White Rose Shopping vouchers (to use at any outlet in the centre) to supermarket vouchers to support with the weekly shop. 

We hope that this little incentive will ensure more students are in school all of the time, where they can be supported to be the best they can be.

The draws will take place on:

Monday 27 March - ParentPay accounts for some families to be topped up with £10;

Tuesday 28 March - Ten families to each win Easter Eggs for each family member in the same house;

Wednesday 29 March - Five families to each win £30 cinema (Cineworld, White Rose) vouchers;

Thursday 30 March - Three families to each win £50 White Rose vouchers;

Friday 31 March - two families to each win £100 supermarket vouchers (Morrison's / Asda / Sainsbury's / Tesco's).
