Cycle Leeds put the Year 7 student though a tough a gruelling training morning on Friday 6 May. 

Level 3 Bikeability  is delivered on roads with larger volumes of traffic travelling at higher speeds. 

The group learnt how to negotiate more complex junctions on a route of their choice, usually your journey to school or work. Once they completed Level 3 and received their green badge, they are now be able to:

• Cycle almost anywhere using complex road junctions and features such as roundabouts, multi-lane roads and traffic lights;
• Plan a route using any road;
• Understand driver blind spots and how to avoid them;
• Filer through queuing or slower moving traffic;
• Identify and react to hazardous road surfaces.
